Sarracenia leucophylla Pitcher Plants & Fly Trap Plants Florist Displays!

Florists use pitcher plant in various flower arrangements. It is a great plant for them because

 the pitchers (usually Sarracenia leucophylla) are beautifully colored, and

durable.  Most S. leucophylla plants are collected here in Alabama.

Pitcher plants have a signature, ruffled hood which completely

covers the  opening of the pitcher. The lid is immobile.

 The white coloration in the upper portion of this

 pitcher stands out between the red veins.
